Everyone already knows him as Sir David. The Healy man has led us through thick and thin. His goalscoring abilities have taken Northern Ireland steadily up the world rankings. Who would have believed that we would fail to qualify with David Healy, the top goal scorer of Euro 2008, 13 goals in that campaign alone.
There is now an official petition to Number 10 Downing Street to Knight our wee hero. The team are on top form now as we move towards the next World Cup qualifiers.
