Nigel Worthington Picks The Squad Ahead Of Hungary Friendly 19/11/08

NORTHERN Ireland manager Nigel Worthington has named Derry City midfielder Niall McGinn in his 23-strong panel for the Nationwide International against Hungary at Windsor Park on November 19.

The 21 year-old, who arrived at the Brandywell from Dungannon Swifts in January, has had an impressive first season with the Candystripes scoring nine goals in forty-nine appearance for the club from central midfield.

Returning to squad from suspension is Manchester United's Jonny Evans, while Michael Duff, Chris Brunt and Sammy Clingan are all back after they missed the San Marino World Cup qualifier last month with injury.

However Motherwell centre-back Stephen Craigan is still an absentee as he is still struggling with the groin complaint which has forced him to miss the last two internationals.
